Hi, I'm Andrew and I'm a photographer in Durban, South Africa. I work as a travel, commercial and event photographer, also offering portraiture, food, architectural and wedding photography. I also enjoy taking abstract, landscape and wildlife images. Please take a look at my portfolio, or contact me about doing a photo shoot.
So as we move out of August, and into yet another September, I am starting to feel a tad excited… we have less than one week to go before we hit the road in search of the Leopard….
Planning has been done and now it’s just getting everything together…. tent is good, ground sheet – check; mattresses – check; mobile fridge – check; and so on and so forth…. passports in order – check; and now to the planning for food, sustenance and necessities’ like wine and beer…
The long term weather forecast for next Thursday and Friday shows we will be leaving in the rain, mmmmm, does that mean less game viewing, less photography, less exploring? Should I pack more red wine? All these decisions…. which reminds me, I must collect my long missed 70-200mm lens this weekend… it has been repaired and is crying out for action….
I still have this weekend to see through on standby; it has been a forgettable, and rather stressful, month for work…. a tad controversial, and a reminder as to organise early retirement next year…. so this leave cannot get here fast enough….
I’m still getting used to writing on my blog page again, but please watch this space as we move into the journey…. enjoy your weekends…
